NANYUKI CHARITY DRIVE - LAIKIPIA RESCUE $ REHABILITATION CENTRE – NANYUKI (11TH NOV 2023)

Team Legacy 254 & Subaru Legacy & Outbacks Maniacs Uganda are car owners’ groups comprising owners of the Subaru brand, more specifically the Subaru Legacy and Legacy Outback models. The groups comprise members from all walks of life and comprises over 500 members, all from different parts of Kenya and Uganda. The groups periodically carry out charity drives with the aim of making our contribution to the society we live in and use these opportunities to mentor the youth and sensitize them on various aspects of life ranging from drug abuse, sex education, importance of education and others. The groups also engage in various road safety awareness campaigns in conjunction with various authorities to sensitize the general public on the need for safe road use.

The charity drives are usually held in conjunction with our brother/sister car groups, and as such they bring together a host of car club members who come together for a common cause.

TeamLegacy254 in conjunction with Legacy Outback Maniacs Uganda is organizing a charity drive to the Laikipia Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre in Nanyuki named “NANYUKI CHARITY DRIVE” to help support the centre. We have been involved in many charity drives in the recent past that constitute charity and mentorship in collaboration with other like-minded car groups. Team Legacy 254 just recently completed the construction of a dining hall at Witaon children's rescue centre in Mbita, Homabay county in addition to other supporting actions for the centre, and for the second major charity event of the year, Team Legacy 254 host the Ugandan contingent in this joint charity drive which will be held from Nov 10th to 12th Nov 2023, with the actual centre visit scheduled for 11th Nov 2023.
